Oak Tree

Our office provides advice and representation to the Regents of the University of California and its officers to help the University fulfill its goal, which is simply, “Fiat Lux.”  We solve problems, guide our clients on policies that govern operations and work to mitigate legal risk in University transactions and programs.

Specifically, we routinely advise clients about the following subjects, often in consultation with our colleagues at the UC Office of General Counsel and partner law firms:

  • Attorney-Client Privilege
  • Data Security, Privacy, and Analytics
  • First Amendment
  • Labor/Employment
  • Prop. 209
